Gpus, cpu and all cores never go over 50%

Why won’t my computer go over 50% usage on both the gpu and cpu during gaming benchmarks can use the gpus and cpu fully.

The computer is set to max proformance in win 10 setting

Running
5930k all cores are less then 50% during gaming. Sli 1080ti tried enabling and disabling sli. 32gb lpx ram. 850evo os and a nother for the games. Upgraded the psu from a 1050 to a 1600 just to see if it could possibly be a power issue.

What's FPS like? Are you actually dropping frames?

For one, the system will never use 100% of what it has unless it needs to. It's only going to use what it needs to use, and nothing more. Forcing it to use 100% of its resources wouldn't help at all since obviously the game doesn't need it.

I have a triple 1080p 144gz monitor and most of the time I only get 80fps even on single or lowest settings it can very but I should be able to get way higher then that some games on my laptop with a i5 and a 1050 can beat out the main system

Also most of the time the most of the cores during gaming it’s only at 0-5% and a couple hit 20% it can very between games but I never get to max out my monitors and even monitor in most cases. Time spy holds 144

Can you try a single card on a single monitor. Just want to rule out poor sli support in your games.

Yes I’ve tried that as well same fps as the triple. Normally I’d say it’s a cpu bottleneck since it doesn’t really change the fps do to screen rez or ultra and low settings. But all cpu cores are under 50%
