I have the ASUS ROG PG42UQ OLED monitor and I'm seeing quite alot of color banding. It mainly occurs in dark scenes where the light source isn't blending into the dark background. Even worse is that in some games whenever I move, a green outline appears around the light and it looks terrible. I tried disabling G-Sync and adjusting the contrast, brightness, gamma, and color space but nothing worked. I tried resetting my monitor settings several times but the issue still persisted.

I then tried to go into my Nvidia settings and adjust the brightness, contrast, and gamma there but none of that worked. I then tried to set the color range from full to limited and even the color format from RGB to YCbCr422 and then to YCbCr444 but that didn't work either.

At this point, I've tried just about everything and I can't get the banding to stop. This doesn't happen on any of my other monitors so it is a problem with the ASUS monitor. I'm wondering if there's a way to fix this because this banding makes the whole image look cheap and for a $2000 monitor, that feels like a rip-off. If anyone else has this monitor as well, I'm wondering if this is just something that happens for this monitor or if there's a way I can fix this.

Here's an example where the second monitor doesn't have any of these banding issues.
