grand theft auto 5 please help!!!!!!!

ok!!! so i buy a retail version of gta 5 (7 disks)
but the problem is a want to play the steam version
so if i redeem the code on steam ??? will it work?????????

Not sure about that one.

Could be the Rockstar Social Club version.

You can play online and all that but perhaps not through Steam. Not necessary though because connectivity goes through the Social Club and not through Steam anyways.

well then the only thing you can do is punch the key into steam and see what happens

I think everywhere aside from Steam gives you a Rockstar Social Club code, including the retail disc. If you want easy Steam integration with the game you're going to have to get it on Steam.

so i just install the game from (7disks)
and activate it and it will work with out steam

Yeah, you would input the code into the Rockstar Social Club website to activate the game, you don't need to have Steam running to play it, the Rockstar Social Club software will just launch automatically when you start the game.
