[SOLVED] Graphic artifacts on new card. Radeon rx 580

As the title says. Brand new card in a brand new build. Getting an excessive amount of graphic artifacts and sometimes crashes. These happen almost immediately on starting a game (longest I've gone without any is maybe a minute). Tried using an older driver, switching inputs, capping framerate(helps a tiny bit)

At this point I'm probably just going to return the gpu. But I thought ide ask here first. This is my first build so there is a chance I did something stupid haha
Anyways here's some specs:


Amd radeon Rx 580 gpu
Amd ryzen 2600x cpu
Msi B450 tomahawk mobo
Aoc g2460pf monitor
Corsair 650v psu

Re-install drivers using DDU https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Select Clean and Restart.

If the DDU doesn't work, then it's probably a faulty card, it happens, sadly

Is everything new? Hdd/Ssd and OS?

Yes everything is new. And I'll try ddu. Though I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers through windows. Will still give ddu a try just in case

The whole point of DDU is because Windows doesn't uninstall stuff, which is why I use things like REVO to get rid of all the crap programs put on my computer

Well ddu didnt fix the problem. Returned the card and got a new one. Working perfectly now. So it was indeed a faulty card.

Hello! I am late to the party, but I am trying to find help for the exact problem you had and hope you'll see this. I have the exact same MOBO-CPU-GPU combo.

I'd just like to ask: Which RX 580 did you have, and which one did you get as a replacement? Do you recommend the GPU you have now? I'm trying to get mine replaced, hopefully I'll be able to.
