Graphic card and hd streaming vide

Hello,

I have problems with viewing HD streaming video. I suppose that problem is not my internet connection which is 8192/512 kbps, and HD stream I am talking about works fine on new computers.
So problem is most probably with my old configuration:

- P4 1.8GHz
- Radeon 9000 Series (RV250) AGP
- 1GB RAM DDR PC-3200

I plan to buy more RAM anyway.

Question: Will more RAM improve viewing HD streams or should I buy newer AGP graphic card (probably with more its own memmory)?

Help would be much appreciated.

According to Adobe Flash, your CPU is too slow. All video decoding is done by the CPU, so it is logic to have faster CPU to decode bigger resolution.

1280x720 (720p),
24–30 fps

3GHz Intel Pentium 4, AMD Athlon 64 3400+, or faster processor
128MB of RAM
64MB of graphics memory

I think Flash 10.1 added GPU acceleration. Some AGP cards may be accelerated. I'd look into that.
