Graphic card Displaying But with error 43 and nvidia drivers fail to install

I am having GTX 295 graphics card. I working with it for nearly 4 years. i yesterday updated my system to i7. I totally formatted the hard disk and reinstalled the win 7 OS.Now the graphics card is booting to windows . But in Device manager it showing error code 43. Nvidia Drivers is not installing showing error " No Nvidia Card is Present".
Please help.
My mother board supports both PCIe 3.0 and 2.0.
My configuration is.
ASUS Z87 Pro
Intel i 7 4770 Processor
16 GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz RAM
Kingstone 240GB SSD
750W Corsair PSU
GTX 295 Palit Card.

Please Help

Try to update BIOS, if you haven't done it yet. Or remove the card and reseat it properly again, see if it helps.

Now it looks like the GPU is faulty or dead. Actually error code 43 means that. Sometimes it could be a software issue, but if after doing everything possible you are unable to work the card, then it might pointing to a faulty device.

You can try the GPU on another system to be more sure, if the problem persists, then its safe to say the GPU is faulty.

Yes!! I updated my graphics card to GTX770...All games are working Great.. Thanks for ur great help


Note: Never ever update the drivers of the Graphics card directly from Nvidia Website.. Check ur card manufactures website regarding updates.... I suffered lot when updated my graphic driver to latest from nvidia....
