Graphic card dying?

I know this sounds very stupid but is this possible because I think it may be happening to mine or something is going wrong. I was in WC3 (warcraft 3) while downloading DC universe and I was getting very bad fps lag. This SHOULD NOT happen with a 560ti should it? or am I just being naive

Multitasking increases the load on your system resources(CPU and HHD) which in turn would result in lower fps.
Whats the rest of your system specs?

Your harddrive would be lagging your whole system whilst installing and playing a game at the same time.
How have you got 12Gb ram?
3x4 sticks?

I have 4 sticks but I'm not positive what each of them are
