Hello, my console system just broke recently and I’ve been playing on my old old computer. The experience wasn’t great and I was wondering if there are anything I can upgrade to increase the smoothness of my games.

Here are my computer specs:
Intel i7 950 3.07 ghz
Asus p6t deluxe v2
12 GB ddr3
Nvidia geforce gtx 295

I play on a 1080p 60hz screen. Currently playing cs:go and dota 2 but with jitters. Looking forward to play destiny 2 but have doubt if it can run with my setup (currently downloading). Any help with regarding what I can upgrade with my setup to play these games would greatly appreciate it, cheers!

What's your psu?

1660Ti would go well with your system.

Should also consider overclocking. Ive got my 920 up to 4GHz, your chip should do more with adequate cooling.

I am surprised your machine is struggling to run CS:GO and Dota.... the 295 is a dual gpu card. I would try turning SLI off and run on a single gpu- that will reduce performance but should be smoother...
