I have a pentium 2.4ghz quadcore, on asus motherboard , with 4gb ram , 1TB hard disk could you please suggest me a good graphic card for my system within the range of $100 - $150. Thank You.

i hope i dont have to change my psu after i buy this card , and the system does not get overheated, although i will check the pros and cons of it on the net, just thought from a user's point of view. any geforce cards that u can suggest. Thanks a lot for the advice and help.

You can run that from a 500w easy...lower than that will depend on the quality of your PSU...try it before you buy another. If you have random crashes when the card gets a load you'll know the problem. It vents heat out the back, so as long as you have a decent airflow in your case you are good. The closest thing to that card in performance from nvidia is the gtx260, and they start at around $160

You mean Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400. Could you be more spefic. And your PSU spefications. Then I can recommend a decent graphics card. No offense man I just like precise information given 😉 .

Best card in that range would likely be this one:

HIS H487QT1GP Radeon HD 4870 1GB
