So i finaly got my computer to work, i can get a display with a HDMI connected from my monitor to my graphics card, however my computer is not detecting my graphics card, when i go to device manager it shows me the integrated graphics. i tried re plugging the graphic card but no result. i just made this PC and i have no drivers on this computer but when i downloaded geforce experience, it wasnt detected any drivers so i cant even get my graphic card to work for gaming. i have a nvidia geforce rtx 2070 super

so i can run the computer fine, go on the internet download stuff but its not reading my graphic card at all. The HDMI is directly connected to the graphics card to the monitor and its giving me a display so im assuming its connected right. but its not detecting it in the computer device manager, its showing me the integrated graphic, and even nvidia geforce doesnt detect it, i have windows 10 pro, but an old version since i got it from a friend's USB. maybe its the OS?

I’m having the same issue where I can’t see the dedicated GPU ( Titan XP) in device manager and I can’t install the drivers either because of the main problem. I can see the card in bios. GPU is good. Tried with my older 980 gtx GPU and got the the same problem and the Titan was good in the other PC. Bios is updated and windows is updated. Changed PCIe slots and no difference. I’ve basically been through every fix I could find... any new help would be much appreciated.

system specs -

  • windows 10 home 64bit
  • intel i7 4790k
  • ASUS ROG Maximus v2 formula MB
  • 16gb corsair ddr3 dominator ram
  • Corsair 1200 PSU
  • Titan XP GPU
  • 3 Sandisk SSDs
  • 1 WD 3TB HDD

Directly connected to the wall? Could be an issue. I couldn't figure it out myself tbh but I ended up building a different pc cuz I had new parts coming in which included the motherboard, maybe ur motherboard isnt compatible with the graphics card

Yes and the card has worked flawlessly on the MB for about a year. Definitely think it’s a software issue but so rare that nobody really has a fix. All the common fixes I could find for that type of issue don’t solve it and I even got a new copy of windows hoping a fresh install would work.
