Hello people,

I may have made a boo boo, but you may still help me.

I was going into uncharted area (at least for myself), into mining. I downloaded Nice Hash miner, and I started to benchmark.

After a while, my PC shutdown, and after restart, no display. Had to connect my display to MBO, and I can clearly see that my GC isn't working (fans not running, no detection in Device Manager).

I even took out the GC, and still nothing, even restored default setting in BIOS (OC).

My system spec:

CPU: Intel Core i5 6600K
GPU: R9 390 Sapphire Nitro 8GB
MBO: PRIME Z270-K Asus
RAM: DDR4 Single 8GB Crucial
PSU: 750W FSP Fortron/Source Hyper

Update: However, I noticed when I press the " S Button" on the graphic card, it's lit up, meaning it has power, but the fans or not running.
I ran DDU in safe mode, deleted the drivers, still nothing, no detection in device manager.

I'd suggest you to take it out and physically inspect it form signs of any damage (burned circuits, etc.) It's rare, but possible that when the temps rose up, something burned. Also, check the cables and try re-seating it.

BTW, what do you mean by "S button on the graphic card"?

I will check the circuit later on.
R9 390 Nitro has, I believe a button for BIOS, as I understood it, a GPU can have it's on BIOS/UEFI.
Or I misunderstood that one.

Tho I've never had an AMD GPU, but I can say for sure that GPU's don't have their "A button for the BIOS/UEFI". I guess it's for something else.

It's dual BIOS settings. Dunno.

So, just that is lit up, I'm taking the GPU tommorow for a diagnosis, it still has warranty.
Wish me luck.
