Graphic Card not working

I currently have a hp p7-1155. I ended up wanting a better GPU and got a Quadro K6000 from a friend and ordered a new power supply (ENERMAX TRIATHLOR ECO ETL650AWT-M 650W). I plugged everything in but my fps was still the same as before, what did I not do?

you don't give any details on any of your system components....its more than possible your CPU bound so no GPU upgrade would do you any good.

Your PC has a single PCI-E x16 v2.0 slot allied with a sandy bridge core i5 2400....why did you think buying a professional grade workstation GPU would bump up your FPS? You couldn't feed enough data to that GPU with a skylake 6700K core i7!!!

You really need to upgrade your PC....or at least the CPU. your problem is you can only fit up to a core i7 2600....
