Graphic card opinions please.

I've been wanting to upgrade to a GTX 970 but wanted to know some peoples opinions on them(Never bought a card before). These are the few I'm stuck on.

I've heard good things about the MSI card and the ASUS card. I almost chose the MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING 4G, but then I read it doesnt have a backplate which I read is helpful. Though the MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING 100ME does have a backplate, other then that, color, and size diffence, they seem like the same card? Is there a difference in them? And what are your opinions on these 4 cards? Unless someone has a better suggestion? Thanks for any and all help. Really want to upgrade, but a 970 is alot of money to not know what I'm doing!

I've been told that, it looks like a great card. but i'm just more familiar with Nvidia. Thanks for the info though.

There is a minimal difference in these cards. They all are great value cards with good cooling system manufactured by their specific companies. I'm partial to EVGA because of being an owner for a while now, but it is ultimately your choice. If your case has a window, color scheme could be a deciding factor.

all will perform good but I would go for the evga card, good reputation, overclocked out of the box, and runs cool.

Is there a difference in the 2 MSI cards? And thanks for all the info guys. Big help.

The 4G supports 4 way SLI while the 100ME only supports 3. That is the only performance difference.
