A graphic card is only one part of a gaming system. The rest of the system needs to be about the same level as it to function properly. If the rest of the system is too weak you still won't be able to play your games smoothly.

Which mobo??
Which gfx card slot??? ( agp or pci-e)
which processor?????
How much ram..????
Hence, i simply can't suggest u anything untill u elaborate.....buddy...!!!

Dont end up buying gtx 690 for an AGP slot....hahahahaha...!!! Just kidding.......

You can have GTX 690 in sli.
