Graphic card Power supply

guys if i upgrade my power supply will it prevent my GPU from burning i had some company called infinity power supply 400w and GPU Nvidia gtx 650 1gb and when i turned on my computer just after my brother shut down the system i quickly started the computer and the GPU got burned =( so now i have Corsair VS 550 and planning to buy Nvidia gtx 750 ti oc 2gb so is their any chance that my gpu might burned again =(
p.s the gpu which i bought was not sealed and had no user guides and warranty claims
=( i know at that time i was dumb =(

Your PC should be fine, most likely your old PSU was a cheaply made PSU and burnt itself out.

Your new PSU should hold up 😉 If not since it's new you can claim warranty on the PSU and get a new one since it was faulty.
You should be fine.
