Ok,so I installed fresh copy of Windows 7.Now I have Standard VGA Graphic Adapter. Before Windows 7 I used Windows XP and I really dont remember which graphic card I used. But only thing I know is that I was able to play Sims 3 and any other video game. Now I installed sims 3 and when I want to play Sims 3 it says "Unable to start game
Device 0 cannot run this tittle. No supported graphic card detected. Please check your system hardware."And another one problem is that I cannot change brightness.I was able to that when I had windows xp.My driver is updated.I just want to play Sims 3.Please help me!

Solution
That system uses the Intel 915G Express chipset with the infamous GMA 900 graphics integrated.

It's infamous because the latest XDDM driver is for XP and no WDDM driver was ever released so not only could it not run Aero in Vista, it could not run OpenGL in Vista and thus not built-in Vista applications like Windows DVD Maker. And this is on computers sold as "Vista-ready." Nevertheless it can run DX9 which is what Sims3 uses.

In any case the drivers are here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/81527/Graphics-Drivers-for-Intel-82915G-82910GL-Express-Chipset-Family

They usually have a label or something identifying the make/model if you can open the side panel of the computer and check.

Once you find out the make and model we can direct you to where you can download the drivers for it.

ah,I opened my side panel and on graphic card I saw white paper where is written "SP#36182-001 P9A54AD9VS468R AS#356033-004
DG#356034-000 REV AD" and another thing I found on my graphic card is black box where is written "intel
FW82801FB
F526NA44
SL7AG
TAIWAN"
And that is everything that I found on graphic card.

When I started browsing on internet to see how "graphic card" looks and I have not seen anything like my computer has. .So I found this pic (link below) and I think that this is what my computer has.I guess.Idk.So,what I'm gonna do?

Ok so you dont have a graphics card.

You have integrated intel graphics I would assume.
Go to here:

https://www.intel.co.uk/content/www/uk/en/support/detect.html?_ga=2.182025063.1395945001.1534422182-525185346.1534422182

Download and run the driver support assistant and hopefully that should get drivers installed for you.

I downloaded and installed that.It says" Sorry, no software updates are available."
These are results

Graphics
Standard VGA Graphics Adapter

Adapter Compatibility (Standard display types)
Driver Provider Microsoft
Driver Version 6.1.7600.16385
Driver Date 6/21/2006
Availability Offline
Status This device is working properly.
Location PCI bus 0, device 2, function 0
Device Id PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2582&SUBSYS_3006103C&REV_04\3&21436425&0&10

If there is no solution how is possible that I was able to play video games before installing win7.

There is a solution, we just need to find the drivers - its hard because we dont know what it is we are finding drivers for...

If you find it in device manager, right click and go to properties and get it to check online for driver updates.

I tried and it just says that driver is already installed. In device manager I have "video controller" driver which is unknown and it cannot be updated.Maybe that driver has something with my problem.

ok,I'm using Windows 7 Home Basic,Service Pack 1.
Installed memory (RAM) : 1,00 GB
System Type :32 bit
Processor : Intel (R) Pentium (R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz 3.19 GHz
Do you need more specs? Is this enaugh? :)

but all the drivers are for winxp. Is there any driver for win7

Nope. But the 32-bit XP driver usually works fine in 32-bit Win 7. Sometimes it can be an adventure to get it installed though and you have to force it with device manager--if it had been a WHQL certified WDDM driver then it would've just installed automatically from WindowsUpdate (I have a lot of equipment in Win7 with only XP or Vista drivers and that's where most of the drivers came from).

I have the even older 800-series Intel Extreme Graphics running 32-bit Win 7 using the XP drivers, and there are no issues besides sometimes it drops to 16-bit color after waking up from hibernate. Your 900-series' XP driver is known to be unable to adjust brightness from the control panel in Windows 7. Don't expect an unsupported driver to be perfect, just better than Standard VGA Adapter.

I do have to say that with only 1.0GB of RAM and some of it siphoned off to run the graphics, it would be a lot faster running XP. Used RAM is now so ridiculously cheap as it's such trailing edge technology, that it would be reasonable to max that out. It would be far more pleasant to use.

I just installed driver and now everything works fine.I can change brightness again.I can play Sims 3 again.THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! :pt1cable:
