Hi

I have recently installed a new graphics card and new motherboard:

AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad Core Processor
8.00 GB RAM
64 bit operating System Windows 7

ASUS HD 7950 GDDR53.00 GB

Monitor is a HP w2408h

When I put a game on or run a game in Steam it plays for about a minute the the screen goes black and the only way back is to reset the PC.
I put in new power supply yesterday, Corsair Professional Series Gold AX750 Power Supply

Problem still exists

change to catalyst 12.11 beta 4...very decent and stable driver with lot of performance boot...try them...uninstall all your previous amd driver..and do clean install of these latest one..see if that helps.....if not resolve by driver then look at your RAM..do memtest..and if RAM is also found to be normal then i would say RMA the card....

check that the 4/8 pin atx power on tight on the mb and that the video card has all the power connectors connected. i would make sure your mb chipset drivers are up to date and see if the mb bios has any patches for video cards. what the brand and model of the mb?? the error sounds like the video card not getting the power it needs from the pci slot or the power supply or there and issues with the card under load.
