Question Graphic card seatment quick question

Hey guys, so short story short, I couldn't get my cable fully seated so I removed a plate on the back of the chassi. I missed the fact that I had to have that plate to be able to fully screw the GPU to it.

I made this solution, does it work? Would ONE screw work all the same? Can it melt? Thanks!

Make and model of the GPU and the chassis? You should ideally have both screws inserted for that GPU but one screw should do. the cable tie, I don't think it's offloading any stress from the missing screw hole.

Alright, how do you suggest I could do that ? Is it needed? What could happen if not?

UPDATE: Noticed that when I found a screw that fit, the screw only screws onto the GPU and not on the chassi since the "screwhole" on the chassi is gone. Any fix for this? Feeling so stupid right now.
