I need a solid, not to pricy, but good, durable GPU

The EVGA 1070 is clearly superior, but it is way more money. What kind of games do you play? You wouldn't want to waste $160 if you don't need it, that could go into an SSD or CPU

CSGO, Rocket League, Tf2, bunch more.

Considering you have the 970 I would go with the 1070 as it's a significant upgrade. Also if you haven't overclocked you CPU (and GPU) yet it may be something to try and get a bit more performance out of the system before spending money on a upgrade.

What do you mean? I was planning on getting a gpu as its a saved build plan. I don't have the physical thing yet. What would work nicely then?

turns out this is one of the best for 1080p
I wanna play AT LEAST 1080p and 60FPS
