Hi All,

I have very weird issue in my Desktop.

I have MSI RTX 2080 graphic card installed in my desktop with i7-9700k processor. And on my mobo there is no HDMI/display port. i have connected my graphic card to monitor with display port cable.

And in BIOS i have selected UEFI mode and my graphic card is showing red vertical lines on the monitor. and in windows 10, its not detecting my graphic card. in DXDIAG its showing your graphic card has reported code 43 and it stopped working.

And when i select CSM mode in BIOS. There are no vertical lines but still graphic card is not getting detected in Win 10 and getting above error code 43.

NVIDIA control panel is also not getting opened. Its throwing the error your connection is not attached to GPU.

So i have tried basic troubleshooting steps but no luck.

  1. try to uninstall Microsoft basic display driver
  2. Try to uninstall NVidia graphics card driver from device manager
  3. disable/enable graphic card from device manager
  4. reset the PC from cloud download
  5. installing the fresh drivers again from Nvidia site

And i don't get why vertical lines appear in UEFI mode but not in CSM mode. Although Graphic card is not getting detected in both modes and throwing the error code 43. But windows 10 is booting successfully.

Why i have suddenly got this problem? it was working fine till last week. i haven't done any changes.

Note: In graphic card, RGB lights are glowing regularly which confirms its not a hardware problem.

Please someone help me here. i got scared.

And my bios screen is perfectly fine in both modes
There are no vertical lines

it means its not a hardware problem.

And even i have tried another pcie slot in my mobo which pciex8. I have same problem in that slot as well.
