Graphic Card spinning, no display/signal

Hey, i just built my first pc, everything works perfectly, except when i inserted the graphic card and tried it i had no signal, black screen. When i used the integrated graphics i didnt had any problems. I even tried an old graphic card and it worked.
im worried that my card is broken, or my bios is not updated, bios verison is f1, i see there is a new update for f4 but i dont want to jump the gun.

my specs:
Gigabyte h270n
i5 7500
MSI gtx 1050 ti
Corsair CX450M

Yes update the BIOS, does your card need a secondary power source? If it does make sure that is in. Looks like your card needs one.

no my gtx 1050 ti doest have any power connector, ill try to update the bios.
