Hi! guys
I have a Nvidia Geforce 520 2gb zotac edition and a very old CRT HP 7540 Monitor and a lot of games lag in my pc at high settings so i wanted to ask which one is resposible in lagging of my games graphic card or my monitor my computer specs are
Proccesor-Intel core i5-2320 3.0 ghz
Ram- 4 GB
graphic card - Nvidia Geforce GT 520 zotac edition
motherboard- Gigabyte H87MD3H(4th gen)
please help me !!!
P.S sorry for bad english

Solution
Monitors won't cause performance issues (maybe display issues, but not performance). The problem is definitely your GPU and probably also your CPU. They are both quite outdated.
Recheck those specs...the i5-2320 is a socket 1155 CPU, and the motherboard you've listed would be socket 1150.
In any case, an old monitor may be responsible for poor picture quality or low resolution, but not for lag. Your lag is caused by the GT520, which is not a gaming card at all. Without knowing more about your PSU (brand and model, not just wattage), the strongest card I'd suggest would be the HD7750, which needs no auxiliary power and is a lot stronger than the GT520.

thanks guys now i will first upgrade my GPU because i don't have enough money buy a new monitor and to upgrade my GPU so i will first upgrade my GPU and thank you again
I also wanted to ask which Graphic card is better
Nvidia geforce gt 640 1 gb or ATI 7750 1GB DDR5 SAPPHIRE or nvidia geforce gt 650 1 gb

Better choose HD 7750, because it's almost the same as GT 650 but does not require extra 6-pin for power.
