Graphic cards for laptop?(for gaming)

i want to know if i can put a upgrade graphics card for my hp pavilion dv7. i want like to play skyrim and stuff. i have a budget of $100-200. whats the best like nivdia?

You won't be able to upgrade.
Even if you could, it would void just about every warranty known to man, and you would most likely break something in the process.

Well, you cant really upgrade any GPUs on a laptop, there was some external gpu prototypes a while back but I havent seen that in a while.

An extarnal gpu is about all you can do, the only problem is its not plausible. The slot is a good 100-250 dollars plus you need an external gpu and a desktop psu to run it. Some people have done this for macs but that was with a 750 dollar external PCI e slot. So in general you are going to be better off on using a desktop for gaming, or a laptop with better integrated for games. You wont be able to run high or anything but it will be playable.

I agree. IMHO, there really isn't a more unjustifiable computer purchase then a GPU setup (of this caliber) that costs more than a nice computer.
