Hello guys, I had windows 8.1 and everything was great, i was playing games doing all kind of stuff on my laptop (Asus K55dr) until microsoft decided to update my windows without asking me whether i wanted it or not. Anyway, After updating to windows 10 i had several problems like windows brightness not decreasing or increasing, laptop not shutting down completely black screen but i could still see power light on even after keeping it like that for 5 hours. So i decided to fix it by reinstalling windows 10 but after reinstalling that i could not install graphic drivers, as soon as windows tries to install graphic card driver my laptop shows blue screen with message VIDEO DXGKRNL FATAL ERROR (error code 0x00000113). My laptop works fine if i don't install graphic card driver but it stops as soon as i install graphic card driver. Please help me with this issue. Thanks

If you're not getting a signal on your monitor, it's could be dead. You can also use a program like Unigine Heaven's Benchmark to see how it is performing.

I couldn't find Graphic drivers from Asus website so I installed AMD catalyst and let it search and install whatever driver needed for my laptop

btw can I install drivers which are meant for windows 8.1 in windows 10?

You can try. In some cases, earlier OS version of drivers will work.
