Dear Tom's Hardware Community!

I am trying to install Windows 7 on my desktop computer, and after booting from DVD, this is what I see:

Some additional information:
- Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6450
- No graphics problems on current OS (Windows 10), but I want to downgrade.
- No graphics problems before this screen (BIOS, or 'Windows is loading files...' screen)

Can you please help me with finding the problem and the solution? Even ideas which i could use as a start would be highly appreciated

Thanking you in advance…
Tom

Solution
Perhaps teh add-on graphics card had failed or wasn't connected properly. Are you sure the integrated graphics is definitely turned on and the old card is disconnected? Seems odd that the two should have failed.
If you upgraded to Windows 10 within the mast month, you should be able to take the system back to 7. Somehow, it seems it might be running on a driver meant for Windows 10. Are you installing on to the same hard disk or running a different disk as an extra to the oen with 10 on it?

Unfortunately, the upgrade was more than a month ago. I'm using the same hard disk. Do you think using a new hard disk or saving all data from the old one and formatting it would worth giving a try?

This weekend i could get an old, empty HDD, replaced it with the current one, but nothing has changed, so the problem has nothing to do with Windows 10.

During this time, I heard another idea and tried to switch back to integrated graphics card following instructions found on the net, but no matter what I did, i couldn't make it work. So, I guess i give up.

Thank you very much, and wishing the best!
Tom
