Hi guys .
My graphic card has 1 GB memory (Radeon HD 6850 XFX)
But it can share 4 GB more memory from my RAM.(MY Ram is 16 GB 1600 MHz)
Does this amount affect on my games?
For example can I play games which 3 GB graphic memory requirement?

Solution
your RAM and VRAM do not share or split. Vram is on your GPU and is used be the chip in your GPU, installing more RAM on your mobo will not help you in terms of VRAM.

side note, if you were to buy another GPU with say 4gb of VRAM and you ran a Xfire/SLI setup, both cards will run at the lesser GPU's specs, in this case 1gb. it does not add or split between the two GPU's.

Vram in a Xfire/SLI setup
1gb + 4 gb = 1gb
2gb + 3gb = 2gb
2gb + 2gb = 2gb
You get the idea
