Graphical glitches just ingame

This started when i turned vsync off on fallout 4 through the config, green squares and grey squares started to flash around the screen, tested counter strike and grey textures started to flash everywhere but this doesnt happen when im not in a game. I am ready to buy a new GPU but wanted to make sure.

While playing its alot worst than these screenshots, but since it flashes its hard to get a good picture.

I've seen this kind of thing happen before...
When it happened to me, the fan on the video card went out and my GPU overheated without me knowing.
Then I saw a similar situation that my friend had...
In the end we both had to replace the video card in our systems because they were failing.

It could be just a little glitchy and having graphical anomalies... but mine presented as dots all over the textures in counter-strike and any other 3D game with wall textures/mapping or whatever you call it. My friend had odd wall textures/mapping issue not dots but similar to yours.

I'd say it's a good thing you plan on buying a new one soon... based on what I see I think your card is failing...
