Question Graphical issues in Minecraft

I just got my new Lenovo Y7000 gaming laptop, works great! Although I just downloaded Minecraft and started out by playing some Beta snapshots (reliving the good ol' days) and ran into this issue. Thought it was just an issue with older versions; come to find out it's like this on current patch (1.14) as well. Was wondering what could be the cause?

Try verifying the game files and updating the GPU (or iGPU) drivers to the newest ones.
