both pci-e slots dead? graphics card not showing up in display adapter/system devices.
several times to to reinstall graphics software. To no avail. Ideas and mild taunting appreciated

I'm an idiot and don't want to build a new rig. Specs are as follows:
ASRock Z75 Pro 3 LGA 1155
Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge Quad-Core 3.4GHz
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070
Team Vulcan 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
EVGA850BQ power supply

Solution
So no display when you attach your monitor to the graphic card , then boot? check your motherboard bios for primary display adapter select peg or pcie instead of on board integrated graphics gfx or igpu, save and reset, then conect your monitor to the graphic card 1070.

-Do you have the monitor cable attached to the right graphics card ( not the motherboard one ?
- try reseating graphic card in PCI slot?
- try different PCI slot
- Ensure all your graphic card power pins plugged to power supply cable?
- Does card fans spin? when powered up

Done all of the above. Fans are spinning, power plugs are in place.......even went so far as to buy a new video card.
Same result.
