Hey guys,

Running into an issue when playing games where (I think) my graphics card crashes and my monitor displays goes weird and show symbols. You can see the images here View: https://imgur.com/a/XjGnDc7
(they're pretty wild and I've done numerous malware scans so I'm pretty sure it's not a virus). I had a look at the events log and saw that this "Display driver amdwddmg stopped responding and has successfully recovered" is the most likely culprit.

I've googled around and there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer on what the solution is.

Has anyone successfully resolved this issue? Is this a fault with one of my components? And what are the most cost effective next steps?

Thanks for your help in advance :)

SPECS:
CPU: Ryzen 3600
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB 3200
GPU: Sapphire 5700XT
MOBO: AsRock Steel Legend
PSU: Corsair RM650

Did you try to replace drivers with a clean install ?
Go here and download last driver for your GPU https://www.amd.com/en/support
While you are already there, download and install latest Chipset drivers for your MB, they include PCIe drivers..
Use https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
to clear out old GPU drivers. In Safe Mode with internet disconnected.
Reboot to normal mode and install GPU drivers.
