Graphics Being Weird Driver detecting Diferrent GPU

So Today I was installing Driver for a amd r9 280x and when I finished I noticed that it was crashing non-stop, So I decided to uninstall them, but after they uninstalled I tried to install some basic drivers from device manager(looking for them on the web) and I get basic display adapter. I tried downloading some different drivers, but instead of it showing r9 2xx series it shows hd 7xxx series. Any help?

The R9 2xx series cards are in reality just tweaked 79xx series cards. You've probably installed an old driver that has not been updated to ref. the name change.

You need to uninstall all drivers and download the latest Crimson driver suite from AMD

Try using ddu to completely uninstall the drivers.
