My sons pc stopped working and i realised the power unit had died, got a new one didnt really think about removing connectors🤦‍♀️
So now his pc runs again but the graphics card wont work (6 pin power cable is missing) bought a new cable that i thought was the right thing (no idea how to add pics on this post.. My phone has no options showing ) but dont want to turn it on incase i kill everything as i cant affird to build another one.
Could anyone tell me if the pictured new 6 pin is correct... Graphics card is xfx r7800

Solution
The new power supply should have come with the necessary power connectors for your graphics card. If it did not, return it for one that does. You do not want to be using third party cables/adapters when it comes to powering your system

As for adding images to this site/forum posts, you will need to use a third-party site like imgur. Host it there and post the link in a post here.

Solution
I second wolfshadw, the new power supply should come with all of the cables. Don't reuse the cables from the old power supply as the pinouts are most likely different, each manufacturer arranges the pins on the PSU end as they please.
