can any one tell me if the amd raedeon r9270x faster than the amd refrence 7950 card

The 270X is an enhanced 7870 Ghz Edition and as such is about neck and neck with the 7950 in terms of performance. The 7950 maintains a very small (5fps) lead over the 270X, but not enough to justify its higher price.

5fps quicker in Battlefield 3 Ultra

5fps quicker in Crysis 3 High

7fps quicker in Bioshock Infinite

Take into account that new 270Xs are going for as low as $199 on Newegg and used 7950s are going for as low as $229 on eBay, so the price gap isn't as wide as it was a couple months ago--personally I'd rather have a new card with a warranty than a used card (probably for mining) off eBay, but that's just me.

I have two 270Xs in Crossfire and they are awesome! Faster and cheaper than a 780 and a 290X
