Question Graphics card and display outputs

Hi everyone

although the thread topic or question says graphics card in all honesty I have no idea how to classify this issue/question.

so my current system that I am running at the moment is:

Intel Core i5 6500
G. Skill 16Gb 3200Mhz Ram
AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT
600W PSU
2KVa Mecer UPS

Now the issue that I have is that when ever I plug something into a wall plug close to my pc or there was once when I tried plugging a new printer into my pc both my displays go off, I then restart my pc with the restart button on my chassis and when my pc restarts my display output is back HOWEVER my graphics drivers are gone from my pc and I need to re-install my drivers. The only issue I can think of is that my PSU is possibly the cause of this as it is quite a few years old (at least 4 years) and the GPU is new (only a few Months old), also I know that the ups is working properly as I am a ups tech so there are no issues there. can anyone maybe help me before I just buy a new PSU and it turns out that that was not even the actual problem. my current PSU is a: Bitfenix BPA600U 600W 80 PLUS power supply.

But how would that be an issue when my pc is running off of a ups? And my previous GPU used 2 x 8 pin power cables to run and I never had that issue until now.
