A friend that I'm trusting to build my PC keeps telling me not to mix different brands of graphics cards and motherboards because there's a chance that it will damage the parts. I tried to find instances of it happening, but so far I haven't found anything. I am planning on getting this motherboard https://www.asus.com/ae-en/Motherboards/PRIME-Z270-A/ , but the Asus GPU I was originally going to buy isn't available for purchase. As as substitution I have been recommended this https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N1060AORUS-6GD-rev-10#kf GPU from different sources. Is it really dangerous to buy graphics cards and motherboards made from different manufacturers? Also could you recommend me any Gigabyte MBO within the same price range as PRIME-Z270-A. Thanks in advance
