Desktop Board DQ35JO INTEL
8gb ram ( 4x2gb DDR2 i think )
intel core quad 2.40 Ghz

So first of all i just want to say im a real noob when it comes to pcs and stuff. i bought this pc off ebay. all the reviews were good so i thought id buy it.

MY PROBLEM;
So the computer arrived today and it was all working fine. until i opened it up to clean it. i removed the graphics card that came with it ( Asus G210 Silent 1GB DDR3 VGA DVI HDMI PCI-E Low Profile Graphics Card ) and replaced it. when i tried to turn the PC back on all i got was a black screen.
yes everything is connected securely and i even restored the system to a time where it worked ( it said recommended )
so basically now i don't know why i cant get any sort of single onto my monitor or TV from the graphics card. i don't think there was any issues with static as i had one hand mounted on the card all the time.
also i would like to know if i could put the new graphics card i bought ( http://www.ebuyer.com/658544-msi-gtx-750-ti-2gb-gddr5-vga-dual-link-dvi-i-hdmi-pci-e-n750ti-2gd5-ocv1?utm_source=google&utm_medium=products&mkwid=WA3N2WiH_dc&pcrid=51630194939&gclid=COTWnc3W-cUCFYrJtAod4ikAZA ) into the board i have ( intel Desktop Board DQ35JO )
im actully so heart broken that this pc is messed up as it was my 16th birthday present.
any help will be very apriciated. many thanks.

Solution
An MSI GTX 750ti will not run at full load properly with a 300w power supply. A 500w will be sufficient (400w is minimum for that card). As for it running properly on the board, it should be fine. I doubt the PCI E slot will cause many issues. You probably won't be bottlenecked (slowed down) by the CPU either but I wouldn't be surprised if it does. Anyways, you'll have better performance with a GTX 750ti than with your current card. And you should have a picture.

atm is a 300w psu but i was planning on getting a 500w.
im just worried bc ive read so much stuff about how i need this PCI E OR THAT PCI E
im just so confused and stressed now
sad face

i dont get any picture when i plug the hdmi/vga into my monitor. nvida control panel wont load and i cant even get into BIOS or Safe mode because my keyboard doesnt power when im boot stage. but my mouse does light up straight away.. so confused
ive tried all the ports and there isnt even a ps2 port. also thanks for the response

Make sure you only have one cable plugged into your graphics card at a time. And ONLY a cable from the graphics card to your monitor. How did you do a restore if you have no picture? You didn't scatch your motherboard while cleaning or anything like that did you?

If it was working, you did something and now it is not working, it is something you did that made it not work.

i found out the some pins inside the pc were bent the ram ( not by me ) the the pc was also dropped during transport. im just gonna return it and get my money back,
one last thing. would my new graphics card work in a MSI A78M-E35 with 500w PSU?

Yep. It will work just fine. That's a cheaper motherboard. Doesn't leave much room for overclocking or upgrading in the future. However, it will work just fine with a GTX 750ti. If you don't already have a card, a GTX 960 is a much better card and will give you more than twice the performance for roughly $70 more. Either way, you'll be able to play most games at medium settings. Good luck.
