Graphics Card black screen and crashes all games as soon as they open

As soon as I open any game or put the card on load (about when the card hits 50 °C) the pixels look weird for a second and the screen goes black, the game crashes and some time the pc restarts. Idling and browsing(under 45-50 °C) the card works fine no problem. How can i make sure the GPU is dead so i can buy a new one? I dont want to buy a new one only to find out that's it's not GPU problem. My card is gigabyte gtx 770 2gb and it was running fine for 4 years but suddenly the past month this is happening always when it hits about 50 °C.

Try re seating it or try in another PC. Honestly sounds like it's dying

Since you haven't posted your system specs try using the integrated graphics processor if your system has one.

I tried without the GPU with the intergated to play games and i didnt have any problem.

I have:
CPU Intel Core i7 4790K
RAM 16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz
Motherboard Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. Z97X-SLI-CF
GPU Gigabyte gtx 770 2gb windforce
PSU Corsair rm750

Your GeForce GTX 770 has developed a fault. It may work fine in 2D mode but as soon as 3D mode is required it fails.

There's no reason why it wouldn't be compatible.
