Graphics card broke

So my graphics card has not been performing like it should in the past. I went to task manager and under performance it said it was using 13 percent of intel graphics and 0 percent of my gpu. So I decided to turn my intel graphics off and my pc completely crashed and I turned it back on. I have downloaded all the latest drivers and my gpu is a 1060 3gb. When I try to open nvidia control panel it says you are not connected to one of our devices. My gpu is connected and should be working. Can someone please help?

What is your exact gpu make and model. Make sure all of your cables are working correctly. Try gpu z and see if it can gather your gpu info. You may need to reflash your gpu bios.

I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 3gb, my cables should be working correctly, I have downloaded gpu z what should I do from there?

Is the 1060 the founders edition from nvidia? Does gpu z show that your gpu is a 1060 3gb and that all of the spec appear and are found properly.
