Graphics card choices

Hi you guys. Now I have picked my cpu which is the Intel 4670k Haswell, and Motherboard which is the Asus Maximus VII Hero. I am deciding on a graphics card the two that I've narrowed it down to is the Radeon R9 290x vs the MSI 780 TF 3GD5/OC. What are your opinions on these two GPUs? And have a great Memorial Day!

For the price both are great choice but I recommend to go with the 780X and intel gives great performance with Nvidia cards.The 780 would be perfect

It's rather debatable since the R9-290X is a faster card overall. But I would have to agree that the GTX 780 would still be a great card on an Intel build.

A R9 290 trade blows with the GTX 780. The R9 290X isn't really worth it when a R9 290 can be overclocked to the same performance.
Either R9 290 or GTX 780 is fine, go with the one you like the best aesthetically or the cheapest.

I have a 4670k and a gigabyte 780 GTX and am really pleased with it, definitely would recommend.
