Graphics card choices

Hi guys! Now I am down to my final 3 video graphics cards. My goal is to build a gaming PC, I was wondering if there is much of a difference between the GTX 770, R9 280, and R9 290? Thanks for the advice!

So after some research I decided to get the 760 nvidia 4 GB for 300.

...Well, unless you are running multiple monitors, the 4GB will be overkill. I would of went with either the 280 or 770.

What is the difference with the R9 290 and the HD series?

The HD series are last generation GPU's from AMD. Newer generation GPU's have better architecture which allows for better performance and better efficiency.

For instance, the R9 270X is roughly equal to last generations HD 7870.
