I have an ECS K7S5A m/board and wanted to fit a Radeon 9600XT graphics card, but it will not run, keeps powering down after about 30 seconds. I have been told that the AGP voltage may not be compatable with that card. Anyone have any idea about that, or which card I could fit?
Hope someone knows as I would like to run some of the later games that ny Geforce MX440 will not cope with. Thanks, Tel

Maybe you don't have enough power. Check your psu to see how much watt does it say. It's usually in the model name. Like abc250d notice the 250 which would be the watt.

Second might not be compatible

or you don't have the latest bios and drivers

maybe defective ram or insufficient capacity

Give us more info on your pc.

Sounds like a power problem. Power downs like that are usually caused by either an overheating power supply or overheating CPU. The card is 8x/4x, which means it's compatible with 4x slots like yours.
