We have two older HP systems that are used for offline purposes, the HP 440 six-core series. The computers run fine, but the graphics cards are the old 670's, and they have run the course. Does anybody know if the GTX900 or GTX1050 series will boot on these computers? I hate to toss them for the sake of a $75 used card and they are both in working condition.

Thanks in advance.

900 series should be quite safe.

Some 10 series cards will require a UEFI BIOS. Though it looks like that BIOS mode is supported by later revisions of the Z440 BIOS.
Thanks Eximo, the BIOS was my concern because I know that some of the older HP models won't boot with a 900 series card installed. I figured we would be safe with a 900 series card, but it was worth checking to see. I believe they do have the updated BIOS; these computers are not taxed, so a 900 will be fine.
