Hello. I have a Dell Inspiron 15R Intel Core i5 laptop and I need to upgrade my graphics card so that i can use Revit on it. I was thinkin of Nvidia QUadro K1000M or Nvidia QUadro K5000. Are these compatibile with my computer or if not what high powered graphics cards can I use with my operating system. The laptop currently works off Windows VIsta. Many Thanks

It's possible but it's not recommended. Changing a GPU in a laptop is not going to be easy. If your GPU is integrated with your CPU you can't. As for the nvidia quadro series they are workstation GPUs so they are only used in workstation laptops (dell m6700). If you can some how change your GPU I would recommend the gtx 680m 4gb. If you are not worried about your price range you could go all the way up to the 880m 8gb. I'm currently using a dell m6700 precision workstation with the K5000m 4gb and it is amazing for programs like revit and CAD. Sadly if you really want to use the quadro series you would need to get a new worksation laptop.
