graphics card compatibility!

hy guys ! i have a lenovo e20 with 4gb of ram ecc memory, intel xeon x3045 xeon, nvidia quadro 600 gpu,kcas 600w 80+ brons psu, i recently bought a XFX r9 270x so to change it with the quadro so the problem that is the graphics card wont let my pc boot when i mount it , even when i did a bios update nothing changed !! i contacted the vendor he told me that the GPU has ben tested & it works fine ! so my qstn is there any thing i can do to the motherboard so it runs wothis graphics card with no problemes ?.???? any thing to the mobo's firmware ? i m i mess rerally really in mess over here ! cus befor i dicided to by this graphics card i posted my specs & alots of people told me that it will run fine !!!!!!! hepl please guys !!!

Are you 100% sure it is plugged in completely? I once had the same problem only to find out that it wasn't.
It could also be that you haven't plugged the monitor into the right port. Check that the cable is in fact connected into the graphics card, not he I/O vga or anything. Shops can be wrong, though. If all else fails, go back to the shop and ask him to test it again.

Contact Lenovo, some of these prebuilts have a predefined list of accepted hardware built into the BIOS. If you put something that is not approved in the system it wont work. If this turn out to be the problem there is nothing you can do.

i jus was on lenovo s website i didnot find any list of comatibility hardware for my thinkstation !! can you find it for me please!
