Graphics card compatibility

Hello,
i have a MS-7636 H55M-E21 an Intel core i5 CPU 650 @ 3.2 Ghz (4 CPUs). I think it has 1PCI express gen2x16 slot 2 PCI express gen2x1 slots and 1 PCI slot supports 3.3V/5V PCI bus interface. I don't know what any of this means or if any of those slots that are supposed to be on my mother board have anything in them. It has a Intel HD graphics(core i5). I'm thinking of getting a new graphics card for up to $200. Any suggestions would be great since i have no idea.

What power supply do you have?

You have a general motherboard.You can support any type of single graphics card.

any PCIE 2.0 x16 graphics card will fit in your MOBO just fine. just make sure your PSU will deliver the required wattage.

so what's your budget ? what resolution will you play at ? and make sure your PSU is a branded one cause if you go with a high end GPU with a cheap PSU, you'll fell in some problems.

Do you know how many amps are on the +12/v rail(s) of that 550watt PSU?

Depending on the quality of your PSU and for $200 I would suggest going with the 6870.It's the best bang for your buck.

That is a good idea but with the shipping cost it makes the total $210.
