The reason this post is in the graphics and displays section is because I highly think that this is a graphics card issue.
When playing on L4D2, usually on higher settings eventually the display through my monitor will flash multicoloured and create a whole bunch of unusual artifacts. The game's sound then loops, the window becomes unresponsive and the game crashes (closes).
The temps of my CPU during game play are max 35°C, and graphics card max 60°C and no overheating is ever occurring.
PC Specifications:
i5-3570K @ SC
eVGA GTX670FTW
8GB RAM
Corsair HX650W
Other relevant information:
I recently purchased ARMAIII and this also crashes often, but I heard it is because the game doesn't act too fondly to overclocked graphics cards so I disregarded this.
Ever since these crashes on ARMAIII I have began experiences crashes on other games such as L4D2 and even whilst on the desktop.
(In fact just during this post my display driver has stopped working).
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing recent drivers, only to no avail.
If you need any crash files or memory dumps or what not please inform me.
