Hello all. Tonight I think my GC finally bit the dust and I was wondering if you could help me confirm this. So my harddrive crashed a few months back when I was playing a game. A message that my graphics driver failed along with a wonky screen. I held in the power button and when it started up I could get no further than the win xp loading screen then a constant reboot. I suspect corrupted files from the shutdown. Here tonight the same thing happened except I do not get an input signal at all. Just a plain black screen? Do I switch to my back up hard drive and send mine in again or is it a GC problem. I am running a standard intel chipset that comes standard with most crappy computers. Maybe I finally overworked it.

Are you getting the BIOS screen at least? If you are, It's your hard drive. If not, it is your graphics card, or possibly (but unlikely) your Power supply. May I ask, how old is your PC? The reason I ask is that if your PSU is very old, it may not be churning out what is says on the tin, which may mean your PC isn't getting what it's meant to (But like I say, this is unlikely)
