Graphics card decision

Hi guys, my previous gpu was faulty and i returned it, now im looking for a new graphics card. would be really useful if I had some top recomendations!

Got to be no more that £160
heres my build for compatability

AMD R9 280 (£150), or nVidia GTX 760 (£160). From what I've heard, the AMD's are faster, but the nVidia is a bit more "refined" (quieter, less power usage).

Get the Gigabyte Windforce out of these two. Other choices would be ASUS Direct CU II or Sapphire Tri-X or Vapor.

Whats the warranies on gigabyte? Im scared im going to get another dodgy card they are so risky..

I've generally only heard good things about Gigabyte's UK warranty service. Unlike a lot of companies, they have a UK service centre, so the card won't be going back to mainland Europe - thus, it's something like a week from them receiving the board to a new one being at your door (although, obviously, the retailer's responsible for the board if it's faulty, and has to supply a refund/repair/replacement in a reasonable time - typically regarded as being 28 days or less)

I just prefer gigabytes Winforce over Sapphire's Dual-X. Looks like a better cooling solution to me.

So buying from here I will get a 3 year-warranty from gigabyte? I cant find anything about a warranty on the page which is worrying.

You should definitely get the three year warranty as it mainly applies to all of their graphics cards.
