Graphics card doesn't fit

I only have one 16x PCI-E Port on my mother board and i'ts directly across from the top expansion slot in my case. Is there anyway to fix this without needing a new case? if now which case would you recommend.?

I'm not sure I know what your problem is. The card should fit that expansion slot and the one below it if the card is double width.

Oh, you must have a case that has the MB mounted inversely. It sounds like you are limited to a single bay width card.
