Graphics Card drivers problem

My HD 7770 ghz edition burned out so I ordered a 750ti FTW edition card to replace it. Since my old card died and I can't uninstall the old AMD drivers, will it be okay to put in the new card and then uninstall the AMD drivers or not?

That would be fine to use the new card as a display to uninstall the old drivers. Windows should pick up basic drivers for the 750ti then you can install the newest Nvidia drivers 347.09
